There are 2 important things to know about Therapy Links UK (TLUK).

The first is that we have a shared ethos. We believe in a fair and equal community – one that ensures that everyone has access to the therapy support they need irrespective of their ability to pay. We are a not-for-profit social enterprise and one of the only independent therapy companies following a “pay what you can afford” model.

The second is that we know we are only as good as the sum of our parts. We understand the importance of working in a team, sharing learning, supporting each other and striving for continual improvement in what we do.

We are committed to building a diverse group of staff that better represent the people we support –we therefore strongly encourage applications from candidates of colour, LGBTQ+ candidates, those with a disability, and those from other minoritised groups.

Are you a speech & language therapist interested in developing a specialism in the area of complex learning disability? Want to be supported to develop your skills in AAC or dysphagia within a motivated and skilled multi-disciplinary team?
We have sessions available within our schools/college team supporting children and young people aged 5-25 with a range of communication needs - the exact post will be built around service need and the interests of the successful candidate, and will involve sessions in both specialist and mainstream settings.
We have fabulous working relationships in all our settings, with an emphasis on universal/targeted/specialist models of service delivery.

Feeling like you need a change or challenge? Here are some of the reasons to think about working for TLUK:

• you believe in our values of equality, fairness and community responsibility
• you like the idea of working for a not-for-profit organisation
• You want your work to have impact
• you want to work for an organisation that looks for possibilities not barriers, and is striving for excellence and new ways of doing things
• You’d like flexible working options that work around your life including part time, term time only and home working
• You want the opportunity to shape a new, exciting and growing organisation

We are committed to supporting our staff through robust supervision, a shared commitment to CPD, access to a laptop, and lots of team support and collaboration.

What do our team say?

“Working for TLUK has enabled me to be a more responsive and more creative therapist than has been possible in previous roles. The vision and ethos of TLUK fit perfectly with the values I hold as a therapist striving for the best for the young people and families in my community.”
