Come and join our friendly, innovative, forward thinking and agile Speech and Language Therapy service. Due to internal promotion and recent service transformation we are excited to be able to offer this opportunity for experienced Band 6 SLTs to join our integrated Children and Young People’s Therapy service, committed to delivering high quality care.

The Children and Young People's Therapies service include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy so there will be opportunities for joint working with a range of other professionals.

We have sessions based in Bishops Stotford, Hertford and Stevenage

You will be working collaboratively within early years and school settings to provide assessment and intervention to meet the needs of children and young people across Hertfordshire. You will be joining us at an exciting time as our tele-health practice continues to expand.

There will be opportunities to develop skills within areas of specialism (e.g. Cleft Palate, complex needs, autism) and to work across a range of settings including special schools and DLD provision.

As part of our 3 tier balanced model of service delivery we are committed to developing the skills of the children and young people’s workforce for example through delivering high quality training packages (e.g. Elklan, SCERTS, PCI).

You will have a 2 week induction period where you will have the opportunity to observe and shadow your team virtually
In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,034 and a maximum payment of £1,791 per annum (pro rata where applicable and dependant on base location).
