We are offering an exciting opportunity to join Northumbria Healthcare’s dynamic and friendly team of Community Paediatric Speech and Language Therapists. We work in a variety of settings including schools, nurseries, early years’ settings and children and young people’s homes and are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Therapist who can contribute a range of skills and experiences to our Speech and Language Therapy team. Good organisational and time management skills are essential along with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively contribute to clinical teams to ensure well co-ordinated care plans and high standards of service delivery. You will be familiar with both appropriate standardised and informal assessments and a range of intervention approaches for this client group.

Essential Criteria:

Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice
Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist
Desirable Criteria:

Driving Licence
The post holder will be required to work at Health bases across the Trust.

The post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
