Contract: 37 hours per week / 39 weeks per year (Term Time Only)

The Speech and Language service across Esteem Multi-Academy Trust is an exciting new development. Here at Esteem we recognise that Speech, Language and Communication skills are a pre-requisite for learning, and want to give our young people the best opportunity to develop these skills.

We are a Multi Academy Trust with eleven academies throughout Derbyshire, Derby City and east Staffordshire, currently comprising of 7 special schools, 3 student support centres and a primary school with enhanced resource provision educating young people with a range of additional needs.

We are striving to meet all the therapeutic needs of our students using our own inhouse team of therapists, starting with our Speech and Language Therapy offer. As this is the very start of this service, the successful applicant will play a key role in contribution to its development and strategic direction.
With this in mind, we are seeking to appoint a specialist speech and language therapist. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working within SEND provision and experience of leading a team of other therapists would be desirable.
