A vacancy has arisen at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust within our highly pro-active, Paediatric Speech & Language Therapy Team for a strongly motivated Therapist who is eager to embrace new evidence-based & innovative approaches to therapy. This is a mixed post offering work within Mainstream SEN & Special School.

This fixed-term post of 26.25 hours is partly to cover maternity leave (1 day) but also based on renewable school contracts, all running until 31st July 2021. It is likely these contracts will be renewed.

You will be required to carry a caseload of school-aged children with complex communication needs in mainstream & special schools. You will be part of 2 teams that work in these settings: 2 days for SEN mainstream team and 1 ½ days with the special school team. Each team has regular team meetings and offer support for learning & development.

The Speech and Language Therapy Team continues to explore exciting and innovative developments which allows posts to evolve as changes take place.
