EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST

Do you want the chance to enhance the lives of young people with SLCN? We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our team where you will work directly with young people and see the difference that speech and language therapy can make.

St Catherine’s is a non-maintained specialist SLCN school supporting students between the ages of 7 and 19 with a range of speech, language and communication needs. The school also has a Post 19 provision with therapy support. The school offers students the opportunity to develop their skills, abilities and confidence to achieve more than they ever thought possible despite their difficulties. To be part of their journey is a highly rewarding experience especially knowing you have been part of their success.

Therapists provide a high level of individual and group intervention so it’s the perfect opportunity to develop exceptional clinical skills with both in-depth assessment and clinical intervention. It’s a rare opportunity to work directly with students and deliver therapy on a regular basis! As well as being part of a supportive team, you will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team of teachers, SLTs, OTs, learning support assistants and care staff, with class groups, smaller groups and with individual children.

If you are looking for a fresh challenge or you are just starting out in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

To find out more and to apply, visit www.stcatherines.org.uk, email general@stcatherines.org.uk or telephone 01983 852 722. CVs are not accepted. Full/part time positions available.

The closing date is 12.00 pm on 5th October 2020 Interviews will be held the week beginning 12th October 2020.

St Catherine’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to enhanced-level disclosure and barring checks.
