We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, creative and passionate Speech and Language Therapist with good IT and time management skills to join our dedicated and supportive team. Salary: Band 5 – 6 pro-rota , dependent on experienceDetails: Full-Time, Part Time Permanent Contract: Term Time Only or All Year Round Start Date: ASAP Job Overview • Working alongside our Senior Speech and Language Therapists and will be offered relevant training support. • Providing speech and language therapy at a specialist level to children and young adults with complex communication needs in association with and in addition to Autism Spectrum Disorders, within a school setting. • Ensuring the service is provided in close collaboration with education staff and other professionals to meet the needs of the pupil. Job Requirements • Speech and Language Therapy degree/qualification • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) • MRCSLT membership The ideal candidate • Able to work independently and as part of a team under supervision of a senior speech and language therapist • Good assessment & organisational skills • Experience of health & social care policy/local & national agendas as they relate to disabled people • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Passionate about supporting children with autism Why Choose us BeyondAutism is a charity dedicated to empowering children and young people with autism to lead fuller lives through positive educational experiences, training for those working with them and support for their families and carers.
