Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking for a new role? Are you looking to make a real difference to children’s and families’ lives? Due to increasing demand for their services, Speech Leap is looking to recruit a Speech and Language Therapist to join their expanding team.

Speech Leap is an innovative Speech and Language Therapy company that prides themselves on delivering an exceptional service to local families and education settings. This rewarding role will include one to one work with families in their homes and education setting with the opportunity to provide regular therapy and input. Having a small caseload ensures that you are able to provide a high quality of service to children and make a real difference. The applicant will also work in nurseries / schools delivering packages of care. We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to carry out assessments, deliver 1:1 / group therapy and training, liaise with education and health staff and write reports and targets. The post offers a friendly and supportive working environment with clinical supervision and encouragement of a clinical specialism.

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist
• RCLST and HCPC registration
• Enhanced DBS
• Experience working with children in schools and clinics
• Experience carrying out assessments and interventions with children with a range of communication needs
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Car driver

Our ideal applicant would have at least 2 years’ experience working with children of all ages with a range of communication difficulties, however we are accepting CV's from newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists. We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate and committed to supporting children to help them reach their full potential.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

To be successful in this role you would need to:

• Provide individualised and evidence-based speech and language therapy to children including assessment, interventions, advice and training
• Be confident delivering speech and language therapy to children with a range of communication needs
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including health and education staff
• Be a brand ambassador for Speech Leap and share its vision to provide speech and language therapy that makes a real difference
