Salary (includes inner London uplift):
Band 5 £29,056 – £36,134 dependent on experience
Band 6 £36,481 – £44,044 dependent on experience

Full time permanent post with paid school holidays
We are looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly team. We are looking for a therapist
who is passionate in enabling access to the curriculum and whole school experience for students with a diverse range of
communication needs, including: developmental language disorder, autism spectrum disorder, selective mutism, global
developmental delay, social communication difficulties, speech disorder, hearing impairment and dysfluency. The post
holder will contribute to our exciting outreach programme, which includes training and working with other schools.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The St Marylebone CE Bridge School (SMBS) is a co-educational special school for 11-16 year olds with EHCPs (primary
need in speech, language and communication). We aim to create an environment in which our students can achieve
their maximum educational and social potential so that they can enjoy and participate in the world of work and adult
society. We have a dedicated multi-disciplinary team consisting of three full-time speech and language therapists
alongside other professionals.
