Please note: this role is 0.6 FTE and the salary shown will be pro-rata'd accordingly.

You will be primarily engaged with teaching on undergraduate modules related to speech and language therapy. You will undertake a full teaching and assessment load and develop your own teaching materials and methods. You will be expected to utilise innovative approaches to teaching to enhance the
student learning experience. You will contribute to the planning and development of modules and the programme and will be supported to take on aspects of programme management such as module leadership.

You will be a team player and enjoy working with a range of colleagues. This includes some work with the Clinical Placement Lead on placement activity; helping foster and develop relationships with existing and new Partners.

You will be a qualified speech and language therapist ideally with a broad portfolio of clinical knowledge and skills and with specific knowledge and experience of working with people with learning disability/complex learning needs. A key aspect of the role is to help inform our curriculum and teach
learning disabilities across the lifespan. You will be able to teach a range of clinical and professional areas relevant to the learning disabilities topic and be willing to teach a range of speech and language therapy topics.
