Eagle House Group is an independent co-educational day provision for pupils between the ages of 4 and 19, providing education for pupils who have an autistic spectrum disorder and related conditions including Social, emotional and mental health needs. We are currently recruiting Band 5/6 Speech & Language Therapists as follows:-1x part time for our 6th Form College and 1x full time for our Secondary school and 1x part time for our new therapeutic provision in Tadworth, Surrey. In addition we are looking for 1x full time band 7 Senior SaLT for our Secondary school.

The successful candidates will join our multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, behaviour support specialists, assistant psychologists, and a dramatherapist. You will be required to work on a full time basis (8.15am to 4.15pm, 5 days a week) plus two weeks during the school holidays. The successful applicant will be expected to work term time hours and 2 weeks in the school holidays.

Main responsibilities will involve:
• Assessment and intervention planning
• Group and individual therapy as required
• Working within classes and providing consultative support as part of the multi-disciplinary team
• Development and implementation of training for staff and other professionals
• Curriculum development
• Report writing and record keeping

We are looking for Speech & Language Therapists who are:
• Highly motivated, passionate, dynamic and flexible
• Has relevant experience of working with young people with special needs, including autism spectrum disorder, Asperger’s syndrome and Social, emotional and mental health need is desirable
• Has highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Is RCSLT and HCPC registered
• Hold a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
