This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic forward-thinking Speech and Language Therapist who wants to continue to develop their career, skills and knowledge in an Ofsted rated “Outstanding” (2018) specialist educational setting from Primary to Key Stage 5. Our students primary needs are speech, language and communication but also have other diagnoses and difficulties too.

As an HCPC and RCSLT registered Speech and Language Therapist, you will be working within a small but enthusiastic and highly skilled team working closely with other therapy team members. You will enjoy the chance to work within a well-resourced department with a complex caseload, where intensive therapy, small groups, classroom working and collaboration with pupils, a range of staff and parents is encouraged. You will have access to clinical supervision, a mentor, a full induction package and support. I CAN’s Dawn House school is an outstanding specialist school committed to the highest quality integrated education, therapy and care. You will work collaboratively as part of strong and supportive multi-disciplinary team of teachers, therapists, teaching assistants and residential care officers, with class groups, smaller groups and with individual children. Dawn House School is a non-maintained day and residential school for pupils aged between 5 – 19 years, who have severe and complex speech, language and communication difficulties (including Asperger’s Syndrome) with associated learning and/or behavioural difficulties.
