We are looking for two Band 6 Therapists who are looking for a change and new challenges. We require therapists to join our growing speech & language therapy department in promoting the holistic development of independence & functional skills informed by the latest evidence-based practices and to be accountable for delivering a quality service. Our streams of provision focus on interventions that support difficulties with feeding, speech, language, social communication and developing Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) at universal, targeted & specialist levels across a 24-hour curriculum.

Our integrated approach to an enriched curriculum is complimented by multi-disciplinary input from occupational therapy and music therapy services. It would be desirable if applicants have an interest in or knowledge of AAC systems in order to work alongside other staff in developing strategies and initiatives to support a total communication environment.

This role is an opportunity to develop as a clinician while gaining experience in an educational setting, as we offer excellent support through supervision, a commitment to CPD and a variety of training opportunities. Our team is dedicated in forging a unique collaborative approach to special education by embedding the expertise of the speech & language therapy profession in a meaningful way that doesn’t compromise the quality of the service.

Can you, as part of a team and individually, be an advocate for making learning accessible in order to meet our student’s needs, develop their potential and make a positive impact on their quality of life within and outside of their school career?

In return we can offer you:
