Paediatric Speech and Language Therapists required from September 2019 – Band 6/7 equivalent (AfC)
Salary range £35K-£45K dependent upon qualifications and experience
We are looking for committed and enthusiastic SLTs to work as part of the transdisciplinary team at our senior site. You will work with a specialist caseload of pupils with specific learning difficulties. You will need to have an independent approach and demonstrate a working knowledge of standardised assessment and clinical observation. You will show developing clinical reasoning skills in relation to the delivery of therapy programmes and reporting. Experience with pupils within secondary education would be an advantage. You will need to work closely alongside specialist teachers and OT therapists and be able to integrate SLT goals into an educational setting. We would expect you to have knowledge of clinical assessment, treatment planning and implementing paediatric therapy programmes. We would expect you to have or be studying for OCR level 5 qualification.
We offer a generous CPD package, we encourage therapists to take our own SpLD diploma equivalent to OCR7. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience, we offer a generous pension scheme, enhanced holiday and free school lunch.
