Full time Speech and Language Therapist

NHS Band 5 or 6 (corresponds to School Local Government Pay Band 4 or 5)
Salary range: £22,290- £35,826 (£18,938 - £30,439 pro-rata), dependent on experience
37 hours per week, 5 days per week
Part Time - 38 weeks per year + 5 Inset Days

Grove House is a special school for pupils aged 8-19 with speech, language and communication needs. We wish to appoint an energetic, outstanding, qualified Speech and Language Therapist, who are committed to the vision and ethos of our growing academy.
This is an exciting opportunity to help continue shaping our innovative school and Therapy methods in the school’s next phase of growth.

We are looking for:
• A highly motivated and flexible therapist with knowledge/experience of working in a Special School environment.
• Experience with carrying out and analysing assessments, therapy planning and making recommendations for EHCP and annual reviews.
• Experience/interest in carrying out whole class and group intervention.
• Experience/interest in supporting teaching staff and pupils within the classroom environment.
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
