Starting salary: £24,844 –£25,672 per annum + benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Seashell Trust runs an Outstanding (Ofsted) special School, and a specialist College with 17 on-
site residential homes for children and young people with complex learning disabilities, physical
disabilities and multi sensory impairments.

We have an opportunity for a talented Speech and Language Therapist to provide a service for
our children and young people. The role will support staff to ensure a high level of proficiency in
issues related to communication, and deliver services as part of a multidisciplinary team.


• Previous experience of assessment and delivery of therapy for communication skills with
• this client group
• Post Basic Dysphagia Qualification preferred but not essential
• Understanding of AAC
• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification
• Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
• Registration with the Health Professions Council

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join
our specialist team and really make a difference. The salary advertised is the starting salary,
and the role is equivalent to Band 5.
