About us:
ABA Autism Education is a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic team that delivers ABA Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy to families in East Anglia. Clients comprise of children aged 2-14 years old with either Speech and Language Delays or Autism Spectrum Disorder, additional Speech and Language delays and other comorbid genetic conditions.

What we are looking for:
We are seeking a full-time Speech and Language Therapist/Coordinator to join our growing team based in Feltwell, Norfolk. The role of the SaLT would be to:
• Deliver 20 hours per week of highly quality Speech and Language Services to clients in Norfolk/ Suffolk/Cambridgeshire in their homes (which does not include travel between client’s homes) using a 1:1 therapy approach with the client as well as the consultative model and parent training and to complete the accompanying paperwork.
• Take data and analyse it accurately and be prepared to learn innovative ways of data taking (Standard Celeration Charting)
• Work within and become proficient on an on-line practice management system that incorporates: Scheduling, Data taking and Record Keeping.
• Co-ordinate an existing team of SaLTs that will involve scheduling, peer mentoring, sharing clinical expertise, trouble shooting, practice management system team support.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Speech and Language standardised and non-standardised assessments.
• Fill in when other SaLTs are unable to undertake sessions.
• Have administrative oversight of all SaLT client’s programmes and progress and ensuring medical records are audit ready.
• Contribute to the continuing improvement of company policies and procedures relating to the field of Speech and Language.
• Coordinate efficiently and effectively with other team members on client’s programmes including BCBAs and SaLTs.
• Have excellent organisational, teamwork, time management and IT skills.
• Be creative, flexible and be able to deliver administrative training to other team members.
• Be willing to learn about ABA and/or already have some experience working in teams that deliver ABA services.

The successful candidate:
• Has considerable experience in working with children with Autism and other developmental disorders and clients with speech and language delays.
• Is passionate about empowering families with skills that make a significant difference in their lives.
Will also:
• Have a SaLT degree or qualification
• Be registered with the HCPC
• Have MRCSLT registration
• Preferably have a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or an associated subject (but not mandatory)
• Hold a valid driving license
• Be subject to a full disclosure DBS check

The position would be remunerated as follows:
• Salary £38-£50K per year (37.5 hrs week) commensurate with experience and ability to fulfil the role to its maximum potential
• Plus Performance Bonus
• Plus opportunity to work occasional weekends with clients (paid overtime)
