Bucks Pay Range 7 FTE £32,204 - £35,836
(NHS Band 7 equivalent) Actual Pay: £23,148 - £25,730
Working hours: 30 hours per week, term time only + inset days plus 2 weeks

Chiltern Wood School is an expanding Special School currently supporting 200+ students ranging from ages 3 to 19 years. The school is located over two sites in Cressex and Downley, formally Chiltern Gate and Maplewood Schools. The governing body are looking to recruit a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist. The successful candidate will lead the speech and language therapy service within the school; providing management and clinical supervision for the therapists and assistants employed by Chiltern Wood School, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, planning and implementing therapeutic strategies to support a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. They will also have opportunities to develop skills in new approaches and contribute to the dissemination of this within the SALT team and other relevant professionals.

Experience of working with pupils with learning difficulties, ASD, and a wide range of complex needs is essential.
