Salary: £36,451 to £48,055 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Community Adult Speech and Language Therapy team within an outstanding Therapy Centre.

The team offers rehabilitation and management for those with newly acquired, long-term neurological and non-neurological conditions for both communication and dysphagia. In addition there is designated staff to provide an ENT service for those with voice problems.

The team treats people with (long-term) acquired and progressive neurological conditions including Stroke, Parkinsons Disease, MS, MND, (etc,) frail elderly and dementia patients and those with a cancer diagnosis giving rise to communication and/or swallowing problems.

Person Specification: The post holder will be the Clinical lead for the newly configured Community Speech and Language Therapy team, and will contribute to innovation and develop of the community service in Hounslow, alongside the service manager.

You will be expected to lead collaborative working with patients, carers and with colleagues in healthcare, the voluntary sector and Social Services in planning and delivery of the services.
