NJC PO3 £36,912 - £39,855 pro rata Term Time Only (Actual salary - £32,963 - £35,592), 35 hours per week

Speech & Language Therapist (Band 5 Equivalent)
NJC SO2 £32,592- £34,299 pro rata Term Time Only (Actual salary - £28,535 - £30,029), 35 hours per week

Are you an energetic and creative Speech and Language Therapist? Are you looking to make a difference to the lives of young people with autism and complex needs? Looking to further your own professional development? If so, come and join our team!

We are expanding our therapy team and seek an experienced, well qualified and dynamic Specialist Speech & Language Therapist [band 6 equivalent] who has the ability to support the future development of our excellent provision for children with autism, severe learning and language and communication difficulties. Our therapy team will provide support and supervision and opportunities to work alongside both NHS SLTs and school commissioned SLTs offering a unique development opportunity.

In addition, we are looking for a Speech & Language Therapist [band 5 equivalent] with either some experience or Newly Qualified SLTs who wish to start their career in a setting that makes a difference to the lives of young people with Autism and Complex needs. You will be offered support to develop your skills including regular supervision, team working and training in specific approaches used within the school e.g. PECS, Intensive Interaction, Musical Interaction, Attention Autism and Team Teach etc.

Demand for places is high and having already increased our accommodation to admit new referrals we are now progressing plans to open a second school to meet demand.
