At the Together Trust we understand that special educational needs, including autism, emotional and behavioural difficulties and speech, language and communication difficulties, affect not only the individual but also impact on the whole family.We work alongside families to help understand and achieve their aspirations for the future.

We are now looking to appoint Speech and Language Therapists (preferably band 6) who are wanting casual work in the following locations;

Stockport

Greater Manchester

Sefton

All support is tailored to enhance positive life opportunities and choices. Our family support services include:

Autism Support

Therapy services

Independent support services (I.S)

Our therapy team can offer support to enhance communication and social skills and to identify strategies to support sensory differences, leading to more successful experiences within the community and with social relationships.

As a registered member of the Health Professionals Council with a current practicing certificate, you will have excellent observational skills and experience of working as a SALT within a multi-disciplinary team. With the ability to manage your own caseload, you will have worked with children with a range of Special Educational Need, including Autism Spectrum conditions and complex disabilities.

As part of Together Trusts commitment to our staff and service users, any new recruits will be required to undertake pre-employment checks and a tailored training programme before commencing their role. Each programme will be specific to the role and service you are successful for. The trust training programmes and therefore start dates are fixed so you will be required to attend the next available induction dependant on when your pre-employment checks are complete. We advise all successful candidates to be mindful of this when handing in their notice.
