At Hillingdon Manor, we provide specialist education for c170 pupils with autism, aged between 5-19 years old. Located across two sites, we deploy a wide range of teaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners, who present with a range of learning difficulties and styles

As the Lead Speech and Language Therapist, you will line manage and professionally supervise a small team of Speech and Language Therapists whilst working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team. Taking the lead in the development of diverse, effective and innovative approaches you will provide advice and guidance to your team whilst also providing Speech and Language Therapy to our children and young people, ensuring their well-being and best interests at all times.

This role is offered as a Term Time post, 42 weeks per year with a salary of up to £44,000 per annum.

Skills required:

Qualified Speech & Language therapist with at least three years relevant work experienceProven experience with our specialist client groupKnowledge of a range of assessment tools and evidence of skilled applicationExperience of multi-professional work with teams or servicesExperience of teaching and trainingKnowledge of sensory differencesHold HCPC registration
