Baston House School are recruiting for an experienced Senior Speech Language Therapist to join our embedded multi-disciplinary clinical team, based from our school in Bromley, Kent.

Salary Up to £45,000 p.a. plus benefits. (Both Full and Part Time hours considered)

Baston House School is set in five acres of grounds and following major refurbishment in 2010 this impressive new facility provides an excellent environment for education and development of children aged between five and nineteen years old.

All learners have a Statement of Education Need or Education, Health and Care Plan that describes their primary need as being on the higher functioning spectrum of Autism.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy to the children and young people, working collaboratively with the school’s staff to promote their well-being and best interests. This position will take a lead role in the development of diverse, effective and innovative approaches to supporting and developing the functional communication skills of those with complex communication needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience with our specialist client group.

- Knowledge of a range of assessment tools and evidence of skilled application.

- Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated

- Experience of teaching and training.

- Knowledge of sensory differences.

- HCPC registration.

- Registered member of the RCSLT.
