Therapy Links UK C.I.C is a multi-disciplinary not-for-profit therapy company supporting children and young people with complex needs aged 0-25.

“Working for TLUK has enabled me to be a more responsive and more creative therapist than has been possible in previous roles. The vision and ethos of TLUK fit perfectly with the values I hold as a therapist striving for the best for the young people and families in my community.”
Gemma, Speech & Language Therapist

Are you interested in developing your skills in working with children and young people with complex learning disability / autistic spectrum disorders? Interested in learning more about AAC or paediatric dysphagia? Looking for an exciting new role in a flexible, innovative organisation where you can be supported to develop your skills and interests?

Therapy Links UK (TLUK) is a unique organisation that supports schools, colleges and individual families to access therapy support that is flexible, innovative and needs led. We are looking for a therapist who enjoys doing things a bit differently, who enjoys challenge and creativity, and who wants to be able to influence a small and growing organisation. Experience in complex needs is not required as there is lots of support available from our specialist SLTs, along with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and clinical psychology colleagues - however an interest in working within specialist settings with those with learning disabilities is required.

This post will be built around the interests of the candidate and will involve sessions in both specialist and mainstream settings. There is scope to get involved in service projects, develop skills in service development and design, and really shape the next step of the organisation. Therapy Links supports flexible working and can discuss flexible working options with the successful candidate.

We are committed to building a diverse group of staff that better represent the people we support –we therefore strongly encourage applications from candidates of colour, LGBTQ+ candidates, those with a disability, and those from other minoritised groups.

Feeling like you need a change or challenge? Here are some of the reasons to think about working for TLUK:

• you believe in our values of equality, fairness and community responsibility
• you like the idea of working for a not-for-profit organisation
• You want your work to have impact
• you want to work for an organisation that looks for possibilities not barriers, and is striving for excellence and new ways of doing things
• You’d like flexible working options that work around your life including part time, term time only and home working

We are committed to supporting our staff through robust supervision, a shared commitment to CPD, access to a laptop, paid time off for wellbeing, and lots of team support and collaboration.

Last year alone, we provided over £13,000 of free or heavily discounted therapy to families who otherwise would be unable to access it. And we want to do more.
