At West Midlands SLT, we work across both primary and secondary schools including special schools and colleges for young adults with learning difficulties within the West Midlands. We are looking for clinicians who are driven and passionate about working with children and young people with communication difficulties and who have experience of working within the education sector at specialist, targeted and universal levels. As a result of a vast number and range of contracts, we have the capacity to tailor a post to suit an individual's clinical strengths and work preferences.

Come and join our dynamic team of 22 employed Therapists and Assistants (SLT and OT). Work collaboratively with school staff to create a bespoke service plan and exercise your creativity in service delivery at specialist, targeted and universal levels. Benefit from working alongside our clinical lead experts in DLD, ASC, AAC, Dysfluency and Sensory Integration as well as our innovative Service Leads. All staff follow a career progression pathway, which ensures that there are equal opportunities for everyone to develop their personal, clinical and professional skills and fulfil their individual potential as well as contribute to the development of the whole team and wider service.

The WMSLT family offers a comprehensive network of formal and informal support, including clinical supervision, opportunities to be included in service development project groups, regular whole staff meetings and inhouse/external CPD opportunities. We operate shared platforms that provide the team with access to a vast wealth of resources, training and assessment tools. These platforms also enable staff to receive regular peer support and share good practise.

All WMSLT staff working 3 days or more receive a paid session of admin time each week. Staff benefit from company absence leave and pension scheme.
