ACCESS Speech and Language Therapy
Job Ref:

An exciting opportunity to join ACCESS Speech and Language Therapy has arisen. We are looking for a full time Speech and Language Therapist in September 2021 for a permanent position.

We will consider Band 5 or Band 6 applicants. Four days a week will be based in mainstream secondary schools in North London, one day a week will be for administration, CPD, planning, etc.
A driving licence and access to a car is desirable but not essential.

ACCESS Speech and Language Therapy provides services for mainstream primary and secondary schools across London and Hertfordshire, as well as supporting individual families in their homes. We are dedicated to providing high quality services to all children, families and schools we work with.

The days in school will require the therapist to assess students and provide effective, targeted group intervention. However, our schools service follows a flexible approach, tailored to the needs of each school. We offer provision at universal, targeted and specialist levels and encourage a ‘whole school approach’.

The successful candidate will have ongoing access to high quality mentoring, training and supervision in order to provide outstanding assessment and intervention. Continuing Professional Development is highly valued.

ACCESS Speech and Language Therapy have built a successful team around our therapists – we try to tailor every role to the individual therapist’s interests as we believe that the best therapist is one who is happy in their role.

We offer:

• A structured induction programme including observation and shadowing opportunities
• Regular clinical supervision and mentoring
• Access to a range of resources and standardised assessments
• Support & encouragement to provide child-centred, evidence-based intervention, working with clients in a range of settings
• A budget to attend training courses to support continuing professional development
